Jessica Pastorino

President & Chief Compliance Officer

Jessica joined her father at Burch & Company in 2006 after watching him and her mother succeed through all the ebbs and flows of entrepreneurship in a highly-regulated and ever changing industry. Jessica is responsible for overseeing the affairs of the business and working directly with our regulators to ensure the firm’s policies not only meet applicable regulations, but also that they make sense for the unique space in which we operate. Jessica believes in a solution-based approach to compliance challenges and also believes that a strong compliance team in our particular space is one that can intimately learn its registered representatives’ businesses, constantly evolve and demonstrate adaptability. Jessica holds her Series 24, 79, 62, 22, 39 and 63 licenses. Jessica enjoys speaking as a panelist on relevant industry topics, has acted as a panelist for disciplinary hearings and has previously Chaired and served on FINRA’s Small Firm Advisory Committee, where she has been able to raise and help problem-solve issues that affect small independent firms in this niche space. Jessica has previously served on FINRA’s Mid-West Regional and Capital Acquisition Broker Committees.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English at California State University Long Beach and originally working in advertising in Santa Monica for Rubin Postaer & Associates and then in management with Vail Resorts in Vail, Colorado. In her spare time, she serves as the number one fan for her little boys’ soccer teams, the Rattlers and the Sharks. Jessica and her husband Vince, a beat up rugby player turned kid’s soccer coach, reside in Parkville, Missouri with their two sons Nico and Mateo.
