Amy Guthrey

Vice President

As Burch’s Vice-President, Amy is responsible for daily operational oversight and improvement in order to continually enhance compliance operations at the firm.  In an ever evolving regulatory environment, Amy enjoys the challenge of working in this space alongside our representatives and their private investment banking practices to bring the value of securities compliance to their clients.

Amy began her career with General Electric’s Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff, gaining significant experience in areas of capital business financial audit and compliance as well as industrial operations finance.  Since joining Burch in 2011, Amy has earned the designation of Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional (CRCP) from the FINRA Institute at Wharton and holds the Series 79, 7, 24, and 63 FINRA licenses.

Amy earned her BSBA degree in Finance from the University of Central Missouri.  Amy currently is a board member of HealthEd Connect, a nonprofit working to empower women and children through evidence-based health, education and advocacy program.  Amy spends her time outside the office enjoying her family, husband James, daughter Stella, and son Louis.
